Get your bikes in gear for the East Atlanta Kids Club 14th Annual Brownwood Bike Rally! Join us on September 15th at beautiful Brownwood Park in East Atlanta for another great day of bike racing and other fun festival activities!
The Brownwood Bike Rally is a festive event celebrating cycling, fitness and health, for kids and adults. This year’s festival includes street bike races and a bike safety rodeo for kids, cyclocross races for adults, a health fair, a food court and a festival area featuring family-friendly activities. Prizes are awarded for all races.
Proceeds will benefit the East Atlanta Kids Club, a nonprofit after-school tutoring and mentoring program for promising youth aged 7 to 17. The club was formed in 1998 by local residents hoping to give youth who otherwise have limited after-school and summertime options a safe and stimulating place to play, to learn and to express themselves under the supervision of caring adults. The Club now offers a rich variety of educational and recreational activities and mentoring opportunities to more than 100 youth each year, free of charge.
Event admission is free. Races are free for children and cost between $10 and $20 per adult. Volunteers, racers, and donors are welcome to assist with the coordination of this event. For more information about the event, please call (404) 627-8050.
