• 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
• 1/2 cup powdered sugar
• 1/4 tsp salt
• 2 tsp vanilla extract
• 2 Tbsp cornstarch
• 2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1/2 cup finely chopped pecans
• 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar, for coating
1. Preheat oven to 350°F. In the bowl of an electric stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, mix the butter on medium speed until creamy, about 20 seconds. Blend in 1/2 cup powdered sugar and salt. Mix in vanilla.
