But there are some simple things you can do in just a few minutes that can make all the difference to your well-being. Stop to complete a routine activity that doesn't take much brainpower.

Mowing the lawn, working in the garden, washing the car, or just taking a quick walk around the block can stop the gears in your head from spinning out of control.
